Sports Physiotherapy

What is Sports Physiotherapy?

Sports physiotherapy is a service that specifically addresses and focuses on the evaluation and treatment of sports-related injuries. Sports injuries are somewhat different than everyday injuries, as sports require synergy and stability of many muscles to protect joints and ligaments that must be used more intensely on a repetitive basis. Our sports physiotherapists at Médisport Physio are specially trained to assist athletes in their rehabilitation and return to full function so that they can participate effectively in their sports activities and prevent future injuries.
